Atas Logistics Pte Ltd Expands Storage Capacity at Houston Terminal
Atas Logistics Pte Ltd today announced an expansion of tankage at its Houston Ship Channel terminal, adding new segregated storage for distillates and residual fuel oil to meet growing Gulf Coast throughput demand.

Atas Logistics Pte Ltd stores and handles refined petroleum products across a network of marine terminals spanning Southeast Asia, the US Gulf Coast, and Northwest Europe. The company provides multi-product storage, marine and inland connectivity, and 24/7 terminal operations for refiners, traders, and industrial customers.
The expansion adds six new tanks at the Houston Ship Channel facility, increasing total segregated storage capacity by approximately 180,000 barrels. The additional tankage is split between ultra-low sulfur diesel, D6 residual fuel oil, and jet fuel, reflecting the product mix moving through the terminal today.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with the new tanks expected to reach mechanical completion and enter service in the second quarter of 2027. The project includes upgraded heating coils for residual fuel handling and additional manifold connections to support simultaneous multi-product operations without cross-contamination risk.
Meeting Gulf Coast demand
The Houston Ship Channel remains one of the busiest refining and petrochemical corridors in the world, and Atas Logistics has seen sustained growth in throughput requests from both refiners and trading counterparties over the past two years. The expanded terminal is intended to give customers more flexibility to hold inventory positions and manage shipment timing around vessel and barge schedules.
